I use this thing to cook burgers and steaks on the grill, using their "reverse searing" technique. You do have to be careful to not allow the device to exceed it's rated temperature, which is why they have this particular cooking technique. I also use it every morning to cook my breakfast link sausages in the oven. They come out perfectly cooked and juicy every time. I like that the app basically predicts when to remove your food from heat, in which it switches to "resting" mode. My kitchen is all low tech, except for this very device.

I am a good cook, but even good cooks can’t help track of the temp of foods in the oven like the MEATER. Never accidentally over cooked another piece of meat.

I pre ordered this and had to wait a while to get it. It was all worth it. This is the beat product I have purchased for my grill and smokers. A must have for those long cooks.
