I bought two refurbished Olympus CH2 Microscopes for our company and they arrived in great condition. Everything was clean and in working order, with no visible damage on the equipment. The only thing I would like to see is a Koehler illumination ring provided with the microscopes.

I recently purchased a refurbished microscope that arrived well packaged and in working order but the optics are subpar. Disappointed in this purchase.

My interactions with Microscope Central have always be good to the point of me using them as a gauge to assess other vendors. The "good" rating instead of "excellent" is only due to a recent phone discussion about microscope cameras, which end with a "promise" to follow-up, without a follow-up; I do understand though that you are a busy company.

The LED Upgrade Kit I got from Microscope Central saved my Nikon eclipse E200 from being an expensive door stop. The LED light works very well. Installation was challenging but working with an assistant it took less than two hours. It helps to have a good selection of tools for working with microscopes or other delicate mechanical instruments. The step by step directions are easy to follow, with photos of each stage. Note that a blue filter helps with color balance for photomicrography.
