The LED Upgrade Kit I got from Microscope Central saved my Nikon eclipse E200 from being an expensive door stop. The LED light works very well. Installation was challenging but working with an assistant it took less than two hours. It helps to have a good selection of tools for working with microscopes or other delicate mechanical instruments. The step by step directions are easy to follow, with photos of each stage. Note that a blue filter helps with color balance for photomicrography.

Finally got it to work but the instructions placed on the enclosed flash drive suck. Shame on you!

I have not yet been able to use it as trying to set it up the camera and screen it calls for a split power cord which was not received. It came with a regular power cord. It does look nice hopefully I will get to use it soon
