Interesting gadget with room for improvement
VI is nice as a running companion, but seems to be targeted at beginner a bit. She has a limited number of tricks up her sleeve, but it is nice to hear her comment on your run from time to time
Unfortunately, sometimes she speaks through herself, meaning she tries to say something while she is still talking. Sometimes it is even the same message, that I was doing so well. Ironically, that was at a point I had actually stopped to catch my breath.
In general , she does not acknowledge that you slowed to a walk or stopped. Maybe she does not now how to handle that. When I start up again, she then says I have slowed down to my cruising speed. (maybe the takes too big averages of your speed?)
What is really missing is guidance. She will ask if I want to do speedplay and explain the idea (i.e. run fast for 20 seconds or so), but not start that section or time it. This I found very weird.
And ideally, VI should have training schedules, guiding me through a schedule, maybe with intervals etc
As for the app itself, it is very basic with its statistics. Hard to get an overview of your runs, your trends or anything. Completely incomparable with, for instance, Garmin. You can upload to Strava though, so you can get some more Insights from there.
