I love the LCD-S20s. The soundstage is huge and accurate, like super accurate. The precision of detail in the sounds is really awesome. I have the LCD-Xs as well, and I use the LCD-S20s a lot more frequently. It is nice to not need an amp and still get great quality playing straight off my phone or computer. The bass is deep but not muddy, and the mids and highs are snappy and detailed. These are my go-to cans for dialing in a mix or tones before recording. I have used them some for mastering, but still use my LCD-Xs mostly for mastering.
