Audeze

Bought 2 of these, 1 for me, 1 for my spouse. Had them for a little over a year. They sound great, but the metal headband on mine broke at the seam just above the right ear cup. Audeze replaced the headset for free, but insured shipping via FedEx from Virginia to California cost $100 which Audeze did not cover. I appreciate them for replacing the headset, but the design of the headband (it's glued at that joint) is poor. Given the quality of the drivers, the build quality of the frame should be better.

Can only rate support as well as they are able to support. With rules in place the customer service will rarely look like the good guy.

Disappointed with Audeze overall. For the premium prices they charge, I expect premium build quality, and the Maxwell 2 ANC doesn’t deliver. It’s heavy, uncomfortable over long sessions, and doesn’t come close to the European-made headphones I own. The company should move its headquarters, engineering and production to Europe, where the craftsmanship clearly shows. Until then, I can’t recommend them. #USAExit

I never write reviews, let alone negative ones, but this product is terrible- it hurts the top of my head, ear cup fatigue, and is way too heavy - extremely uncomfortable. Even with custom headband and ear cups purchased aftermarket
