Mixed Feelings

After a first unit that was broke, they finally sent me a second and that works as it was made to work. What I don't like is the delay when it informs me someone is coming and they are already at my door and I have it set the furthest away. It's just a delay that shouldn't be, especially when an elderly person lives alone. It should be a faster notification with no delays.

Okay for the price

If your looking for something cheap this will work just fine, however, once you delete your video picture you still have an empty gray square that you can't delete. I have about 50 now!

Mediocre service and products

Over the years I’ve purchased and installed a kangaroo security system in addition to a water leak detector, outdoor doorbell with chime and an indoor camera. All were super easy to set up and use. Unfortunately over the past year I’ve had a number of issues with the indoor camera and siren base none of which were remedied by multiple online chats or phone calls. I’ve since replaced all aspects of my kangaroo system with a major competitor or theirs with zero issues to date. Kangaroo is a great deal fir the cost however the system integration and user platform is plagued by many bugs which I was assured would be fixed with subsequent updates which never came to fruition. Bottom line: if you’re looking for a cheap whole house, self installed kit this may well work for you. If you wants bug free system with more options of sensors, improved cameras and lights you should spend the extra money and buy ring or another start up.
