Best Bluetooth IEMs, ever!
I have 2 pairs of UE IEMs, both wired. I use pair one with a standard 3.5mm plug for my Android phone and 1 pair with a 2.5 mm "balanced" plug for my Astell Kern audio player. Since Apple removed the 3.5mm plug from their iPhone I've been looking for an IEM I can use without the stupid dongle and still achieve audiophile sound during my commute. I was hesitate to spend the 1849.00 on a pair of the CSX 18+, but love my other UE IEMs so much I figured I'd take a chance, after investing in B&O, Flares Pro, EOZ, and numerous other Bluetooth compatible IEMs. Well, I've got to tell you, I should have never wavered. The investment was well worth it! I put the UE 18+ IEMs in my ears for the first time, and firing up my iPhone was a relation. The sound quality, sound field, and detail are unparalleled. It was like a blanket was removed from the music, plus the isolation from outside noise is excellent. I don't hear my morning and afternoon train rides at all. The bass is deeper, the highs higher, the mid-range punchier, and the overall clarity outstanding. I can also lower the overall volume, since there is little outside interference to compete with the music. I love these things! BTW, I download my music to the iPhone either at 24 bit FLAC files, or AppleLoss, so the quality of the source material is pretty high. If you are wondering whether you should buy these, or not, do not hesitate. You will not regret the decision.
