Skyroam - OLD

I used my phone to rent a skyroam solis lite and it took a while to navigate to get to the rental page. Then when I filled out the information, it wouldn't allow me to fill out all the relevant information, like my zip code and I think a phone number. Eventually after a few refreshes and going back and forth on the pages I was able to complete the order. I used the service in a rural area where cell service is not the best, so when there were multiple machines attached to it, it wouldn't work for any of them. But when only one person was on it, it did manage to work, which is why I ordered again. It's not so much the product, it is more where I used it.

I purchased a pre-paid code that would unlock 30-day service and yet the website kept asking me about shipping. In clear information on the order page it said the code numbers would be sent as an email and not shipped. It even gave me the option of expedited shipping. I got the codes very quickly via email. I wanted three codes as the sale was discounted and in the coming year I will wanted 3 one-month periods. But the website would not allow me to order more than one at a time - I could not even see where it indicated the quantity. So I ordered a second one later. I will not purchase the third but will use daily passes. So skyroam ended up with a smaller purchase due to not given me the option to purchase more.

Some real issues with the app. Doesnt want to connect to device so cant activate daypass.

Shopping was good. But unit will not connect in Brazil. Still waiting for service to get back to me. If I can not use this was a waste of money.

Should have an app feature to toggle high speed on an off. Monthly unlimited plan needs to come with more high speed data, maybe 30. The app needs to be fixed especially the page to change password and name bc no typed words/letters show. I want the option to boot devices off my hotspot without changing the password. Also would be nice if the battery would last longer, 18+ hours would be really nice. Sleep setting would be awesome feature for power saving. Mine will last approximately 8am to 4pm. I turned the vibration on bc I don’t need a sound to notify me of anything. The hate the power on and power off sounds.
