Marine Alarm Lackluster

I purchased a 2-year old vessel with Siren Marine installed. After paying the annual subscription, Siren Marine told me that the 2G unit I had would not work anymore (it has worked for a year since they told me that.) Nonetheless, I rarely arm the alarm--one time I did, it could not be disarmed. Siren Marine blamed my inability to disarm the alarm on a system-wide failure. It's too bad. I want to have an alarm that works reliably, but I'm scared to wake up the harbor again with an alarm that doesn't disarm.

So far disappointing. Not intuitive.

So far disappointing. Not intuitive. With Hinckley onwatch turned it on and understood everything it was telling me. Didn’t have to research how it worked, read manuals etc. With the Siren I don’t really understand what it is telling me, how to set it up, etc. Doesn’t seem To tell me the simple things that are important like the onwatch did. Probably my fault and I will probably have to invest time to better understand but that’s part of my disappointment

I recently installed the wireless

I recently installed the wireless bilge high-water sensor. While it seems to function, it has also given me several false alarms (including one which caused me to drive several hrs to the boat as it was cycling on and off as if a leak was on the boat). It seems that if water hits the sensor it is accurately triggered, but when the water is brought back down the residue on the sensor causes false alarms, at times days later. Quite frustrating and makes the sensor somewhat useless give the many false positives I have had.

Wireless MTC device is in inoperable without 3G network!

Product operates great and was easy to install. Unfortunately Wireless MTC device is inoperable since the 3G networks are being decommissioned. You should notify customers that they are buying a product that has less than a year of useful life and recommend they buy the newer product.

Until I can get help

Until I can get help getting the shore power sensor to work I will be an unhappy customer as that is the main reason I bought the unit. I otherwise am impressed, but no one can tell me why my shore power sensor, when hooked up to the unit (black to ground, blue to mint-green and then plugged into a functioning outlet), does not show my shore power as "on."
