I am very disappointed in the service I received from Dessy and it’s customer service. I ordered a few dresses for an upcoming wedding to try them on. It was not made clear that some dresses were returnable while others were not until after the order was placed and an email was sent. The dress was a “special order” and unable to be returned or cancelled. I attempted to call and email many times when I realized my error, less than 1 business day after purchase. The website and information was not clear until after purchase. Then I was unable to cancel my order, even though it was over 4 months in advance. They made me pay a ridiculous “restocking fee.” The customer service I received was cold, insincere, and not helpful. She kept repeating the same scripted phrase, even though I was asking different questions. Another bridesmaid in the same party had the same experience as myself. Moral of the story: don’t buy anything without discussing with an agent if you can return or not. Dessy: make your site and checkout process clear for customers. It sounds like this is a continual issue that you may be profiting from. And at least try to sound sympathetic and understanding.
