Annoying experience
This review has nothing to do with the shoes but everything to do with the service. The woman who helped me was very attentive at first, but as time when on I realized ahead was too attentive. Then not attentive enough!! Let me explain.
My husband and I arrived and luckily we were the only ones in the store, because after I was being helped several others showed up and it was clear that they wouldn’t be helped until I had left the store. I felt really bad for them because clearly this woman didn’t know how to give her attention to more than one customer at a time.
I chose 2 beautiful pairs of shoes and wanted to just try them on, get the size that fit, and get out of that incredibly hot store! The woman helping me continued asking me personal questions to get to know me. It was pretty annoying, although I know she was just trying to be nice. She brought out several other sizes and there was quite a mess on the couch of shoes. Finally after what felt like forever, I found the sizes that fit.
I paid and my husband got an Uber to bring us back to our hotel, which was a 20 minute Uber ride across the city. We sat there on the couch among the mess of shoes waiting. Waiting. Our Uber arrived and I peaked into the back room where she was putting my 2 pairs of shoes into one bag, but the attention she was giving the presentation was insane! She was folding each tissue paper and placing it into the bad meticulously. I appreciate the attention to detail, but this was ridiculous. Mind you, other customers were still waiting to even be greeted! My husband had to go ask the Uber to wait for us, and luckily he gave us a few minutes. Finally, after watching her spray the bag with perfume like a Disney princess with an oblivious smile on her face, she was done.
Fast forward 10 minutes into our Uber ride. I get a call from the woman saying she had put the wrong size in my bag of one of the pairs of shoes!!! And the worst part, she kept babbling on the phone without even an “I’m sorry”. That’s what bugged me. No apology. We had to have the Uber driver drop me off at the hotel, then my husband took a separate Uber back to the store 20 minutes away, swapped out the shoes, and again, no apology to him! No awareness that this was her fault! She was super sweet to me on the phone and him in person, but no acknowledgement of this being her mistake.
Best heels I own, hands down. I have 4 pairs and plan to own more. But no thank you to this experience again… I’ll just order online.
