Even better quality than the blue Cavalier blutchers, as expected. They were ordered late in the season and even for southern Ontario, it's too cold to take em out for a stroll at this point.

I purchased bespoke True Penny Loafers from Quoddy. I've never owned shoes made from scratch for me - nor really had shoes of this quality. They felt tight at first - of course, that's always true. I bought a cedar shoe tree and the next time I wore them they fit perfect. I like wearing them with thick socks like they used to in the 90s. These look great and I feel great in them. They are a little slippery so I'm just a little more cautious than I would be in my regular boat shoes. I ride a scooter and they slip when I put the stand down and in the city I slide a little on the sidewalk. But that's to be expected when choosing something fine over rugged. I was so happy I bought the fireside camp slipper. Tight at first, then it relaxed. I stopped wearing socks with them so I could feel the sheepswool against my feet. They fit perfect and are incredibly light. They're not like a solid slipper, I can feel things underfoot - stepping from a rug to a hardwood floor. I've decided to not wear them outside - we don't wear shoes in the house, anyway. I dropped some soap lather on them which left a shiny spot, but it peeled right off with scotch tape. I love them. I'd love Quoddy to be my go-to and shop here for many years. I hope they stick around.

I love my Quoddy boat shoes! I have an older pair that I wear everyday that I am getting refurbished and 2 new pair of different colors that I keep nice for more "formal" casual wear. They are rugged, comfortable and good looking.

Every time I put on my Quoddy canoe shoes, I experience joy. I told myself I would wear them until they weren't comfortable anymore. I wore my last pair almost every day for 6 years straight until the leather ripped away from the sole; they were still the most comfortable shoes I had but they couldn't be repaired anymore. I bought a replacement pair and they were as comfortable as the old ones right out of the box.

Great resole job on my Quaddy boat shoes. They were returned fast turn around looking like new again.. A+
