H&C have no value for customers
Placed a £74. 95 order with H&C, including £4. 95 for UK delivery as they did not provide the free Click and Collect store option. Asked H&C to re-direct parcel to a chosen store, despite also paying £4. 95 for home delivery, as parcel would be stolen if left unattended and I was abroad at the time. Madalina from H&C said no.
Completed the Royal Mail request to deliver the parcel on a different date. However, they still delivered the parcel on the date they wanted to. Was pointless completing the Royal Mail date change request.
Asked Madalina at H&C to contact Royal Mail to assist, as stolen parcel would mean a loss of £74. 95 for me. Madalina said H&C could not do anything.
Said I would be claiming for a full refund if the parcel was stolen as I was not given the opportunity to collect the parcel from a store. Madalina said that H&C would not provide a full refund as their liability ended once Royal Mail had the parcel.
This experience confirms the 'value' that H&C have for their customers. It will be shared with others and act as a reminder to not purchase anything from H&C. Their representatives show no empathy, good customer service or practical solutions for customers.
