From Rosemary Holland

I am impressed with the quality and fit. When I did have to return something , it was because I had ordered 3/4 sleeves on a dress with cuffs. The Cuffs would bind on my elbows , making the dress veryu uncomfortable . It was otherwise a perfect fit. Returning it was not a good esperience. I still have not had the return , because of something to do with my computer not being able to do something. I tried to give you the info. by phone but I kept getting email to do it electronically and it woul not work. Not only this , but due to the mailing costs and non refund of customising fees , I would only have got back enough to cover the mailing costs. In otherwords I might as well have thrown the dress away, from a financial viewpoint. This has made me reluctant to order again , because if it doesn't fit , there is no practical recourse . One of the reasons I ordered from EShakti is because I have to alter anything i buy in a store , because I am hard to fit. The custom fit option worked very well with all other orders I had from you , but the dresses were more unstructured and therefore easy to get the fit right. I am not sure whether i can get as good a fit with a more structured dress, and if it doesn't fit , I really can't expect my money back , because of mailing costs and technical issues.

Too snug in the bodice

In February, I ordered two fit-and-flare dresses, using the standard size M. While I love the style of each dress, the bodices of both a bit snug. Because they're both cotton knit, there's enough stretch in the fabric to get away with the snugness. Then in March I ordered two more fit-and-flare dresses (different styles from the first two). This time, I chose "custom size" and meticulously measured each of the11 or 12 criterion. Unfortunately, when this order arrived, both dresses are similarly too snug in the bodice! Again, they are wearable. My biggest concern is that all 4 of the dresses will be too tight to wear once they're laundered. Were it not for this issue, I would have given each of these dresses a 5-star rating.

Didn't fit quite right.

Beautiful dress, a bit too tight in ribs, sent it back, and never heard back. Can't get my money back, but I really just want my dress.

Lack of Response

I submitted the following letter on 4/17/2019. I know I didn’t ask for a response, but I am surprised that no one acknowledged receiving my concerns... “To whom it may concern; First thank you for taking the time to update me concerning my order. I was contemplating as to whether to write or not... I feel the need to verbalize my disappointment... there have been some elements of shopping with eShakti that have become a let down of an experience. First, could the order have been cut into two shipping events? Once again, my holiday dress is a no show (Christmas 2018, quality control deemed the material to be bad. Easter 2019, my dresses are sitting overseas). This is a major bummer for me. Since you wrote in the notifying email that you/ eShakti will ensure it doesn’t happen again... but it has, how will I be compensated for this? Also, I’ve noticed recently in the level that I am for membership, the wording eShakti uses: “up to...% off” is very misleading. It use to be fun to just see on particular days the “deals” available. Now one looks at an item and often it’s not the “up to” percentage; but rather a much lower percentage. It feels like mis-marketing and not an exciting deal that it once was. Also, when shipping charges are applied at checkout, why is the cost not reflected in/using the discounted amount... why is the shipping cost using the full price amount? Simply, the eShakti experience feels like it has become a more hidden fee charging website than previously. I know I’m just one individual/ customer, but I just wanted to share my concerns and questions with the company. Thank you for reading my letter. Sincerely a loyal but sad customer, Kirstin Kellaher ”
