We initially had a problem with lid fit and they sent a new box. The new lid+old box have a great fit and are working very well. We do use a rubber band around the box just to reassure ourselves but have had no leaks. You can sort of tell this from the picture: the compartment separation is great but not watertight. Not a problem at all - we use dip containers for liquidy foods.
