My dog figured out the weaknesses in this gate almost instantly.

The gate is not escape proof. My dog figured out how to squeeze through the sides between the straps pretty quickly so unfortunately I spent $200 for a piece of fabric that doesnt serve a purpose other than an obstacle for us to climb over. Latching and unlatching is a bit of a pain. Disappointed as this seemed to be the solution for a banister to banister gate.

I was happy to find

I was happy to find some thing that worked with our uneven banister to wall configuration but I found the clip system to be quite cumbersome. Wishing it was something more one-handed, hoping it doesn’t lead to an accident trying to get up and down with a baby in my hands.

Bad Customer Service

The barrier seems like a nice product but customer service was horrible. I paid extra to have it shipped in 3 business days. It took 7 business days and when emailed to get a refund I was told that they are not responsible for the carrier. They got it out on time. There was never any mention on the shipping choices of that nor did they direct you to shipping policies. I wrote numerous times to customer service and they had no interest in working with me.

Bracket says made in China, disappointing but neat gate

Nice barrier but I'm not sure what aspects are made in USA. My item's bracket has made in China stamped on it so I think the actual gate itself is Chinese and just the outer material is USA or something. Still nice but overpriced for Chinese.

Honestly this baby gate is

Honestly this baby gate is great to use if you never use the stairs you need access to. However to “close” the gate it requires two hands and you need to get down on all fours to do so. It’s not practical for regular use.
