I was really excited about this gate because we have tried multiple with our stairs and none worked. this was easy to set up and effective. Within 2 days of mounting it, one of my dogs chewed it up while it was mounted. I know that isn't the gate's fault, but I would have assumed it to be much more durable, given that its made as a barrier for both children and pets.

Return process is a headache and hefty restocking fee isn’t customer friendly

Ripping after just 2 weeks. It does fit bw the wall and banister which is needed since we cant find a gate that works there. Expected more for spending nearly $200.

Had the stair barrier up for less than 20 days and it's pulling part. Fraying.. probably from keeping my dogs back but I guess I had high hopes for 180 dollar device.

I ordered a barrier four years ago, it was a smooth experience for a great product. I ordered a barrier the week of Thanksgiving. The website has an option to click for custom orders that appear to make the product adjustable. I was wrong. No one called me to get the ball rolling with the measurements they needed. They emailed me which went to my junk email which they told me that always happens. It took multiple days for someone to respond to my email. It took weeks to speak to someone (due to hold times). I still do not have my item and it is January this week. The company prompts buyers to download an app to track the shipments (annoying). My shipment still has not arrived even though it is marked as shipped.
