Appears sloppy, fastening straps are too long, not extremely secure

I loved everything about this product except the fact that I’ve had it less than a month and the fabric is getting a hole above one of the internal slats. I think the product price is high which is fine if the quality matches. I am surprised to see it already developing a defect.

I couldn’t seem to get it tight enough to be smooth looking.
