Schedule

The schedule in theory is nice but in real life a lot more difficult to establish. I used my own version of this with great results.

Great at the Start

I found the program helpful at the start to get my baby into more of a routine. It helped me to be aware of awake times to shoot for. I used to wake him up from his morning nap and now he won’t sleep more than 40 minutes no matter what we do. The framework is good, but I don’t think that all babies have to be woken from their naps to sleep well at night.

Good points but a lot of pressure

The package has a lot of good information/pointers on sleep and settling which I found very useful. I also like the support group. However, the overall approach seems to be a one size fits all which I don't agree with. It would be good to understand some other options in terms of napping schedules.

Good as a basis

I found the sleep program taught me a lot about maximum wake times and good sleeping habits but I found that I was getting far too anxious when my baby didn’t sleep at the suggested times etc. I was unhappy and spent all day trying to get my son to sleep. Since I’ve started using it as a rough guide and trying not to put as much pressure on myself things are better!
