Great information but expensive for what it is

This is a great tool for parents however $40 ish bucks is a little ridiculous. They know parents are desperate for sleep and will pay just about anything to get it. I feel taken advantage of now that I’ve gotten some rest and have thought about it. Not even a paperback copy either? I hate using my phone enough as it is. But very good information

Much improvement but still night wakings

The programm definitely improved the sleep habits from our LO. Instead of hugging her asleep she now self-settles. The programm was also very helpful to implement a structure in our day. What didn't improve is night wakings and early wakings. I hope this will improve in the coming weeks.

Some good tips but can drive you crazy

There is clearly a lot of thought, research and experience that has gone into these sleep programmes. It is useful to understand how a baby’s sleep works and using the program to get into a routine. However the first week after buying the program I found myself getting so stressed and worked up when my son wasn’t sleeping for as long as the schedule said he needed or wasn’t falling asleep when the schedule said he should. It actually drove me a bit mad! However I took a step back and now loosely follow the three naps a day schedule and use some of the settling techniques and have found it useful to get some structure to our days. I think using this program has helped me teach my son to self settle which he now does for around 80% of his naps. His day time naps are also a lot better and he sleeps in his crib for most of them which was unheard of before I got the program so a huge plus there. However his nights haven’t changed much, although he was only waking 2/3 times anyway which I dont think is too bad for a breastfed baby. The online village is useful although sometimes the answers can feel a little scripted and don’t always answer the questions being asked. The program does make it seem like if you follow it to a T then everything will fall into place and your baby will nap for those specific lengths of time and do 7-7 without a problem. However even if babies need roughly similar nap schedules and amounts of sleep all babies really are different and have individual wants and needs. For example my son hates being swaddled and white noise has zero affect on him. I’ve come to believe that if he seems happy and content in himself not to worry too much if he’s had a shorter nap here or there. So overall I think this is useful for troubleshooting and hints/tips to improve your baby’s sleep but trying to follow it all may give you cabin fever and can drive you mad. It did me anyway! However I think it was worth it for the recommended schedules, tips and I will read through each program as my baby gets older and see what naps and sleep he requires.

Sadly not for our baby :(

Lots of information about baby sleep and feeding. However, it doesn't work for my LO. We have tried for few weeks and he still struggles with self-settling.

Did well, but regressed to original habits

The sleep program was a great start my son started self settling and not waking up frequently only twice a night which was amazing. We stayed home all week to embed the new routine. However, as soon as we went out on the Sunday for a family occasion, he would not sleep at all and woke up multiple times, we have allowed him to self settle with his pacifier for six minutes and even feed to sooth approach is now adapted however still will cry for over 20 minutes whilst we are comforting him however he eventually throws up. It was worth a try but it only works if you stay home every day. I found sticking to the plan rigorously made me super nervous when I went out as the routine is time specific and a different environment definitely overstimulated him. Was definitely worth a try!
