Helpful but not perfect for my baby
I found the information they provided helpful and empowering, and thus learnt a lot about baby sleep. However my baby struggled with the recommended awake times. So I use it as a guide to determine when my baby is due for sleep and feeds, but I never wake him as he gets to over tired as he takes a long time to settle to sleep in the first place. In saying all this I started with a very over tired baby with reflux who would constantly scream. It wasn’t till i eliminated foods from my diet such as gluten, dairy, caffeine, chocolate, spicy food, fatty food, and citric food as well as nightshade vegetables did I start to see an improvement in his day sleep. I started the program when he was 8 weeks, started the elimination diet at 12weeks and now at 17 weeks he is a very different baby. It could have been a developmental thing, and the food that stopped him complying with the program but his better now, and hoping its for the long run.
