Road Hazard - Tire
First time using our warranty. We picked up a nail in a high performance tire (approx 4300 kms) and called regarding pre-authorization for repair. Spoke to a rep. who advised to have the repair completed and submit claim online. The tire was replaced and claim submitted along with the dealer invoice. We later received notification that our claim was being denied as we had not submitted photos of the damaged tire. I phoned the claims rep and explained that at no time had anyone mentioned the requirement for photos. After further assessment the claim was approved on what was described as a one time exception. Overall, a good experience and very simple procedure. However, I do feel that the initial representative could have been clearer on what documentation had to be submitted with the online claim.
