Beyond all my expectations. A living history from people on the ground in Mississippi and Alabama and an extraordinary tour guide in Leon Burnette. I felt I learned so much more Than I thought possible with Leon as our guide And with the many local speakers who informed us on our journey.

Loved Lima's centro historico. I would liked to have more time to be around there. Also, I would liked to have the chance to visit more museums. The Bellas Artes (Fine Arts) in Buenos Aires is fantastic, specially the old school section. We saw Velazquez, Modigliani, Picasso, Rembrandt, Reubens,etc.

We've been on 17 GCT tours and cruises and this was one of the best. The captain, crew and guides were exceptional. And our fellow passengers were the most congenial we've ever experienced. Hats off to GCT!

Everyday brought magnificent new sights. The scale of the cities, the reverence for the past, the Great Wall, Forbidden City, the lights of Shanghai . . . Three weeks of wonder. Our Program Director and local guides were wonderful and our hotels ranged from fine to great. This was a strenuous trip. One day we walked 11 miles, the average was 3 miles a day. I highly recommend this trip.
