Expensive, not sure if returning next year

I thought the event and venue were okay. Many panelists and speakers weren't earth shattering. There were many behind the scenes private events taking place off grounds which fragments the event. Not sure how TradeTech polices that as some are even organized by key sponsors. The cost is prohibitive for many, not only the TT entry fee/sponsorship, but also the daily hotel room costs. Eden Roc is certainly a better overall layout although perhaps too small to support the size. I heard many banks and vendors question if they would participate next year. To finish on a positive, the event was organized, there was always someone from TT/WBR nearby to help, and the local was gorgeous. Best of all was seeing former colleagues and friends.

Great staff, not enough time, not enough subtance

Great event but very expensive and not as focused as the Amsterdam event. 1) A lot of buy-side but not much participation during the "buy side only" day means lack of opportunities. 2) Jujama app is as useful as a chocolate teapot, No one used it, all interactions were arranged via phone numbers through the excel provided by the organizers. 3) The excel with names and numbers should be provided much earlier and updated thereafter to allow time to pre-arrange the meetings. 4) The event felt rushed meaning it was hard to spend quality time with participants aside from the short meetings that were pre-arranged. 5) Panels were one after another, meaning, lots of people went into one panel, and then 70% of people left for the next 2 or 3 giving little value to panellists and sponsors. Big thank you to Neave and Heather for looking out for us and ensuring our event and our buy-side presentation ran smoothly.

not much diversity. overwhelming more

not much diversity. overwhelming more men than women, and very few people of color. would have been good to have a couple of concurrent sessions so attendees could choose the most relevant topic. the round table group i attended was too open ended, which resulted in 1-2 people dominating the conversation specific to one of their use cases.
