20th Century Conference Structure

The conference featured some impressive keynote speakers and brought valuable industry information. However, there are a few areas that could be improved from a registration and workshop perspective. The registrars were asking for credit card information in a non-traditional unsecure fashion, either over the phone on sending it manually via email vs in an online encrypted format. Another incident happened with one of the registrars were she was challenging the type of business I was representing and she accused me of lying about my role in a quest to avoid paying the larger solutions fee. She became confrontational and unprofessional and demanded to speak to my manager to confirm my role and organization. Secondly, the format of the conference could have benefited from having more workshop based options vs high level PowerPoint presentations. Presentations should have been recorded and made a available for participants to review later.

I enjoyed conversation with numerous

I enjoyed conversation with numerous vendors and other participants. I found a lot of people to be knowledgeable and passionate about B2B and improvements. I enjoyed the majority of the workshops that I attended. I felt like a lot of the single person speakers were either giving a sales pitch for their specific product or were simply using buzzwords and trying to be impressive, rather than actually diving into the details. I understand that we don't want to give away company secrets, but buzzwords are not the solution to stop that from happening.

Great Conference materials, poor venue amenities.

The conference and its content was very good and helpful. The venue, on the other hand, was very lacking. The location was fine, but the food was sub-par and there was VERY little space to stand and have conversations. One of the best parts of a conference are the little discussions that happen during breaks, with no tables to stand at, most people just wandered around.

Good attendees, titles, convos. Agenda

Good attendees, titles, convos. Agenda could be better structured to give more exclusive time to vendors. 2.5 days was a lot of standing around with no convos. 1 day of ehibit hall might keep things busy and more lively. or shorter designated expo hall hours. receptions should be in the expo hall

Layout didn't help drive anyone

Layout didn't help drive anyone into the tech partner stations. Had limited exposure to attendees as we were in a room that had no real reason for them to come in/pass through.
