I'd choose 2.5 starts if

I'd choose 2.5 starts if that was an option. Generally, I thought the 4-person panels were ineffective. They were not coordinated conversations, rather it was mostly individuals talking in silos. Beyond that, there was way too much content on AI (to the point speakers were cracking jokes about it). Finally, I get that suppliers do a lot to fund the conference, but always funneling non-suppliers to the booths for every break or meal was too much. Put some of the stand-up cocktail tables in the lobby area away from supplier booths. Overall, I was looking for an event that I'd send a more junior member of my team to each year, but I do not think this was it.

More Procurement Best Practices, Less SaaS MGMT Sales

Conference was good. Very sales forward of SaaS management systems, not the reason most procurement professionals came to the conference. I'm on the fence about attending next year.

Lacking in content. Too many

Lacking in content. Too many "practitioners only sessions". Did not like to start the conference on a Sunday.

Good, but not the best IT sourcing conference

Sessions felt a little too sponsored by exhibitors for the most part. Some were really good though.

Most speakers and sessions kept

Most speakers and sessions kept discussions at a high-level. As an experienced procurement professional, I'm aware that stakeholder engagement is critical. My hope for this conference was not to learn that, rather to learn about how AI would impact Procurement, which one session focused on, as well as detailed tips on how to navigate the tech space when in procurement. Overall, I found three sessions helpful.
