I think it was a

I think it was a great event. The only two inputs I want to add are that eventhough this is a Procurement event, For Ai and Cybersecurity, I would like to have real experts on the area. We need Procurement involved fully in these two areas, specially if the professional is dedicated to software. There was a round table for Cost Benchmarking which topic was on Software Cost Benchmarking and there was an IDC guy sitted there with the people, and some of us where unconfortable to speak. I know IDC is a sponsor but they could be sitted in another round table.

A great time at ProcureCon IT 24

I really appreciated the networking time and ability to connect with other sourcing peers to understand their process and where we can use others success to iterate and improve on our own. That time and the connections alone made it worthwhile. The sessions and speakers were well thought out, a lot of the 2024 sessions focused on AI technology.

Great venue, food was good,

Great venue, food was good, pace of the event was right. I would like to see more help for users on Sourcing process - perhaps focus on the importance of Sourcing strategies and guidance on how they can be accomplished that sort of thing.

The conference was informative and

The conference was informative and I got some great takeaways on some potential solutions to improve our online experience. I did think some of the "workshop" formats were a bit misleading, at least the ones I attended. When I think of a workshop, I think of a more collaborative learning experience. That only happened in one of the workshops I attended. The others were just like any other session where you're listening to a presentation. Some of the sessions also seemed a bit rushed for time. I wasn't very appreciative of the monsoon of emails from vendors leading up to the event. It seriously got out of hand. I get that they are just doing their job and trying to see what solutions they can provide attendees, but on the receiving end, it was pretty aggravating.
