Had wrong shoes sent to me on two separate purchases. Was sent different color scheme because what I ordered was not available though being advertised as in stock. The wait was ridiculous each time as well. Gave up on that shoe. Went through Modern and then Jose Real directly the second time. I don't believe my experience is typical though. They did make concessions.

The shoes I received were

The shoes I received were not the same as what was pictured. The shoes pictured had white in the sole and these did not. The shoes pictured also had shorter tassels than the ones I received. I now have to return these and get no refund on the shipping.

Needs work

I ordered a $450 pair of shoes in early May. My credit card was charged and then I heard nothing for 6 weeks. I emailed for a status update and learned the shoes wouldn’t be ready until October. It would have been nice to be notified at the time of purchase. Having said that, they did offer for me to choose a different pair of shoes (though not a refund). The availability of a product is a very important determinant in the purchase and really should be disclosed at the time of purchase.

Trying to return them

I ordered one pair and received something different. The return link will not allow me to input my "Shipment ID" to generate a return request and there is no where to call a live person. The one shoe that I unboxed had a smug or defect on it as well. I love the shoe that I ordered but not what I received!
