My items have yet to arrive. :(

Having placed previous orders from the UK, I order earrings for Christmas presents. Instead I received a card through my letterbox saying I would have to collect my parcel at the postal sorting offie. With a charge of £13.85 for non payment of customs duty PLUS a handling charge. This is appalling. My complaint to customer service was met with, Customs Duties are your problem as you are in the UK. I would have preferred - obviously - to pay the customs duty and have the earrings delivered, thus avoiding having to go to the postal office and also paying a handling charge. I have previously given this company 5 stars, but on this occasion I am loath to tick 1 star. I feel cheated.
