I had inquired about the availability of Phantom Black Tetras at the Miss. ON store. The fish are in quarantine presently and wondered when they would be available for purchase. The staff replied it was up to the fish, which if true enough but they might have offered to take my contact info to alert me or given me an estimated time when health would be restored. As it stands, I will call weekly to check on the status of the tank. This is not a big deal but I was left with the impression of indifference by the staff.

I gave 4 stars because you had the part when no others had it, but it took nearly 10 days to get it in my hands. In this world of get everything quick, why did it take so long. I guess I'm spoiled. I ordered some tires from way across the country and got them in 4 days with no special shipping fees or anything...so why this simple small piece for a fish tank takes 10 days is beyond me...but Big Al's DID have the piece.

I wish all of the information on returning my purchase was sent the same day I enquired about it. Maybe I misunderstood the policy, so I mailed it to the same address it was mailed from. I received a text about a form to include in the box. So I probably caused problems. sorry about that. I wish all the information and the form were available at the same time.

Big Al's has very competitive princing on fish food and filter media, and I like their web site. Unfortunately due to their awesome prices and service, they are frequently out of what I want to order so I'm giving you a four star based in that. Otherwise, you are awesome.

I love the store and love seeing the animals. I think that staff could have more knowledge about the pets though. When I bought my bunny the lady helping me had little knowledge about bunnies. Overall, the staff is very nice and I love coming into the store and it's very hard to walk out without getting something.
