Buyer Beware
Frankly, I don't write reviews. However considering the expense, $416.00 for the Eheim filter i recently purchased, the very real question that what I did receive may very well be a return that was reboxed thereafter my becoming the recipient suggets that I at the very least post this. Upon receipt of this very expensive filter it became immediately apparent parts were simply not in the box. Three integral parts were clearly missing. I would never have taken this time to post this review although even after several emails to an individual calling himself Nick, not only have i not received the missing parts. But it now seems i am simply being ignored. It should be noted there was a several day time period between the last email from BigAls requesting pictures of the missing parts and my response due to a death in my family. However not any considerable time frame that would negate my plea for BigAls to simply ship me the three missing but integral parts for this very expensive aquarium filter. I can only imagine this was a return that someone had robbed parts they may have needed, returned it. Perhaps then reboxed to appear new but void of the parts. Ive not been the recipient of the replacement parts, sadly the only email from BigAls was their request for me to send them a picture of the missing parts. If perhaps someone out there can advise me exactly how one takes photographs of something thats not there, im certainly intetested. Since then any communication with the company, BigAls has been mere silence. If you may be considering this particular retailer for any substantial purchase it may be wise to consider an alternative retailer.
