Informative & Fun
I didn’t know what to expect when I tested my baby boy Prynce. We’ve never had a kitten grow so rapidly so we were eager to know everything about him. The organization we adopted him from didn’t know much about him. I saw Basepaws on Google and their sale was too good to pass up. My husband and I have had a great experience so far. We liked Prynce’s first report and loved his updated report so much, we decided to get one for our younger little diva Slippers. If possible, we thought it would be nice if you sold a test result option to returning customers informing them if their cats are related to each other. My cats are about 5 months apart. Their numerous similarities make us think they could possibly have the same father and different mothers or maybe their mothers were related in some way. We adopted them in the same town where they were found, (PAWS of Norwalk, CT). I don’t know how costly a familial DNA test is, but it’s something I would pay for if ever offered. Your DNA kit is super simple to use. Another option I would pay extra for would be to have my report expedited. If you offered completed results in 2-3 weeks instead of the regular 5-6 weeks or more. Or possibly an option to pay for a partial, more general report that arrives rapidly so we stay engaged, interested and happy with your company and it’s responsive, efficient interaction with your customers. Then the completed results will still be sent within your normal timeframe. The results are easy to understand and very informative. The updated report is definitely more accurate than the first. It shows the percentage of breeds like Savannah and Maine Coon doubling or tripling because the purebred database has grown. I think your company is awesome and I recommend it to all who adopt, find, buy mixed breed cats. It’s been a really fun experience and since I have no more cats to test, I’ll be spreading the word by gifting kits to my friends and family.
