fitted collar after chagrinning and Hugo has settled a lot and unit is only on 1. Battery still fully charged after 2 weeks. Awesome, i think the people walking down the back path may be happy as well.

The Dogtra YS600 on first appearance looked a bit basic for the money. But that was not the case, its simple to charge, just remove rubber plug and insert charger. This only takes about 2 hours max. The setting dial is self explanatory, 1 low, 10 very harsh. I have tried various different methods to reduce the amount my dog barks and what it barks at. I did have some success but it was becoming a problem with my neighbors. He is big, stubborn and has a loud bark. I first tried the collar on when I had time to observe the effects to see if the setting was to low etc. So I adjusted the dial to number 1 (as recommended) and fitted the collar. I waited for someone to walk past my 6ft garden fence and as usual he ran to the fence line and started to bark. He barked about 5 times which activated the collar. He then yelped and backed away from the fence. He did that once more that day rather than multiple times. It's been about 3 weeks from first fitment and has activated the collar only a couple of times while I've been at home with him on different days. I use the collar when walking also with no problems, he used to bark at some dogs when walking, not any more, It's tough, durable and works. I had serious doubts before I purchased this collar, for obvious reasons , it's a shock collar. But I have observed a positive change in his behaviour and would recommend this collar for stubborn hounds. I haven't changed the setting from number 1.

The dog loves it and it is easily adjustable between cars. It also feels really sturdy. Love the handy pockets at the front, great for holding the seat belt adapter and other items.

I purchased this a few weeks ago and have been using it on my small 5kg dog for the past week or so. I've only had to use the shock feature once and I was able to use the adjustment feature to gradually increase the shock to a level suitable for my dog which is around 30 to 40. I like that I can give my small dog a small shock rather than a full shock which could harm him. With all that said, I've only had to use the shock feature twice, now as soon as I use the vibration setting, my dog stops barking. I definitely recommend using the vibration as a warning before using the nip button, hopefully your dog will also learn that vibration turns into shock if they don't stop barking. Highly recommended.
