I have no issues with the food they love it

My favorite feature is that all of the packaging is recyclable. I’ve done meal delivery for myself and the packaging is always so disappointing, Petplate completely changed my thoughts on this. My only criticisms about the whole thing are small and not worth removing any stars over: I wish the dry food came in larger containers—when you have a dog that goes through one box about every 4-5 days it seems wasteful. It is shelf stable, so why not a larger size? Similarly, the fresh food could come in a larger container.

There are hundreds (perhaps thousands) of reviews raving over PetPlates's well curated foods. My opinion is perfectly in-line with those 5-star raves. The change in my elderly dog's energy, stamina and just plain pickiness has been nothing short of miraculous. But, I'd like to address the "elephant in the room" (in a good way). All companies making "home-style" pet foods are expensive . . . VERY expensive. Some are outrageous in price and untouchable for a single person on an average wage. While PetPlate is indeed up there, it is not without it's perks and the "Loyalty Program" at PetPlate is simply one of the best there is. In addition, this company has made it simple to pause and restart my subscription when times get tough . . . and believe me, they're always tough. They've even given me generous discounts to help me get this amazing food to my 4-legged child. While it will most likely continue to be a financial challenge, I will stick with PetPlate because of this. Finally, PetPlate seems to make exceptional efforts to minimize their carbon footprint and I absolutely appreciate that. It's not easy to do. This company is impressive. I love their healthy cookies and use them to supplement my dog’s meals. He loves the digestive and the chill out cookies. I’m so glad they offer a way to order these even without ordering the food. The shipping is so fast too.
