Collars work great the majority of the time. Give my two golden retrievers the freedom to run and play they need to burn off energy. GPS can get a little wonky at times and suddenly show dog out of boundary without warning. Seems to happen if I leave collar on in their metal kennel when they get out initially. Once reset they work great. Can’t really imagine having two energetic dogs without this system. Battery life is not “21 hours”. It is more like 16 on a good day, but still not a big issue since I hit them with a charge when they are inside occasionally, and they charge quickly. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

I prefer a longer battery life. My dogs are out at 6:00 am and come back in at 9:00. By then the batteries are dead and the dogs are staying within the boundaries due to the feedback the collar has given them during the day.

Love the Halo collars, but there is one issue, the GPS fence is not stationary. It does move and sometimes my dogs can go out if the yard and sometimes when they are in the yard the fence will move and they will get warnings. Other than that it is a great product and have recommended it to others.

Halo has been great for our dog! She trained to the collar fairly easily and it works well keeping her safe. I gave it 4 stars because the GPS sometimes takes a minute or two to catch up with her location. She can get outside of the virtual fence without receiving a signal, but then receives and emergency signal. It is still a great product and allows us to let our dog out in a big yard without having a fence or wire electric fence. I also love to take it when we travel!
