Look no further

Best wading boots I have owned. I really liked the old Rock Grip Patagonia boots because they were light and durable (for me at least having bought those used and guiding in them for 4 seasons). These are a marked improvement. Light, extremely comfortable, the insoles are very nice. After roughly 80 days working in these boots they show little to no sign of wear. I am extremely happy with these boots and I'm sure they'll continue to wear very well over time. Bonus points because they can be resoled and the fabric is very durable so I don't anticipate things falling apart during their serviceable life. I highly recommend these boots as opposed to other brands that include more glues to hold the materials together. I've owned many other brands of wading boots and always suffer from delamination, soles splitting away, boot laces and lace grommets breaking. Never ends. These, not at all. Worth the money. Thank you Patagonia and Danner.

Fit True, Super Comfortable

I had a chance to break in my new River Salt wading boots. I found the sizing to be spot on. The boots are very comfortable to hike in and the sole is perfectly grippy. I'd been a lifelong C*b**a's customer on wading gear, but I am soooo glad I invested in a product that exceeds my expectations and which I'll have for life -- and which doesn't rust when you get it within a mile of salt water. They do stretch a bit when wet, which is good. I plan to hit them with Danner boot dressing when they are dry -- just like a great reel, a rinse and lubrication after each salty use is how they should be maintained.

Well made and incredibly light

These are some great boots, they have been in Alaska, Steelhead fishing in the Midwest and duck hunting. They are lightweight which allows you to additional steps without additional fatigue. Amazingly the light weight materials do big sacrifice ankle and foot support. Incredibly rugged and durable.

Best boot ever

I did have to order a size up but fits great. I have had these boots in the Pacific Ocean and in every river in central Oregon. I have put well over 100 miles of hard rocky land and water use on these boots, and they feel great, about as good as house slippers. If I ever need to replace these boots and Patagonia still offers them it's a no brainer. I LOVE THESE BOOTS!

Wading boots

These boots are well made. I wear an 11 but they were too tight. The 12s i have now are a good fit. It would be nice if there were titanium studs available. The aluminum studs dont cut it.
