Echelon Row-s Connected Rowing Machine

I think the Row-S is amazing but I think it would be a lot more enjoyable if you had interactive classes where the instructor is rowing on a scenic route with you. I know other brands have that. Additionally the scenic programs you have are somewhat boring and there are so few to choose from.

The machine works very well. I wish the volume control was easier to use. It is sometimes hard to hear the instructor.

all in all we are very happy with our rower! I provided four on the belief that the software and firmware bugs we have experienced will be worked out in the future. The equipment is very well made and suits both my wife and I very well, she is 5'2" and I am 6'3" so finding equipment that we can both use has been a challenge. _x000D_ _x000D_ general feedback, We currently have a Row-s and a EX-5s and it is obvious that the rower is newer than the bike as far as application and content. In essence, everything that is setup for the bikes should be duplicated for the rower._x000D_ _x000D_ In the spirit of being full and honest for a review, here are some of the areas that we have experience that could use some work: _x000D_ - Better music options for the rower; would like to see themed classes similar to the bike content_x000D_ - There is currently no way to filter the on demand workout by the music genre, an enhancement would be to add the data tags to be able to filter by artists in a working_x000D_ - our rower has an issue where the resistance, stroke count, output panel does not update. the only fix we have found so far is to power off and back on until it works again. changing the batteries did not help this issue. _x000D_ - We have had many cases where the onboard tablet freezes or crashes in the middle of a workout, losing all progress without a way to pickup where it left off. In one case, the workout never appeared in the progress screen. It is extremely frustrating to be most of the way into a workout without a way to finish, either an automatic pickup to where the workout stopped or atleast the ability to manually scroll through time would help this issue in the interim until the application stabilizes. _x000D_ - currently we do not see a way to utilize the fit pass challenges using the onboard tablet (ie "total body blast"), we are currently forced to use a cell phone to track these workouts, should be able use the nice screen on the rower instead. _x000D_ _x000D_ Corey

Just wish you offered more live classes

For the most part it's a good rower. Wish the resistance had a higher max. The rowing classes and instructors are ok but wish they had more fusion classes. Overall it's a good machine.
