Ms Stormshadow Parka

Ms Stormshadow Parka

One of our warmest parkas, the hooded Stormshadow Parka is waterproof and insulated with 700-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (a blend of duck and goose down and waterfowl feathers reclaimed from down products). The adjustable hood, cinchable waist and brushed tricot-lined pockets add warmth and comfort. Phone pockets inside the handwarmer pockets and a zippered chest pocket that’s accessed without unzipping the parka also help conserve heat. Built from premium 100% recycled GORE-TEX ePE face fabric, which is partially made from BIONIC® recycled coastal and marine plastic sourced in Costa Rica, the fabric, membrane and DWR finish are made without intentionally added PFAS. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.

Great Coat.

Quite warm but I have yet to wear it in zero to twenty degree temperatures. Probably will need a base plus a mid layer in colder weather. I really love this coat but wish that it had deeper pockets.

Toasty warm and dry

I am 170 cm and 75 kg, with a slim but athletic build, and I usually wear just a shirt or a thinner crew neck sweater underneath my coats. On a recent trip to Chicago, I was on the open top deck of an architectural boat tour on the Chicago river where I experienced some chilly <5C temperatures, with wind and rain. And all the while, this jacket kept me toasty warm and dry! The small was perfectly sized; the medium was huge. I felt snug and the jacket looked well-fitted, but not puffy. Next stop: Reykjavik!

The 100 Year Coat.

Okay first off I don't write reviews, it's not my thing. Seems like a waste of time to me. this is an exception. This coat is the definition of perfection in my view. the fit is perfect, all the different size pockets and cubby holes are in just the right place. the quality and workmanship is as always, exceptional. This coat is made to last 100 years or more.....haha. Maybe I exaggerate, just a little but that's how I feel. Very rare in this time and age that a company puts that much time and value in making its product line. Hats off to them.

The perfect parka

It's sad that this is so costly, but it 's one of the rare instances for clothing where the design and tech seem to match the price. The thing is made out of a lot of recycled material, is warm, and has a lovely minimalist aesthetic. All parkas should be made like this. The only gripe I can find with this (and this is a reach) is that I cannot remove the Patagonia label (it is a darker version though).

The sheer joy of Patagonia

Fabulous jacket. Made with the very best fabrics and materials. The stitching is an art form with these products.Incredible craftsmanship. Great fit and look. Extremely comfortable. Maximum protection from rough weather. It's not hard to see that Patagonia makes probably the best outdoor gear on the planet. Service and staff are the best reason for buying from Patagonia. If you want to have a great day, visit Patagonia.
