One of our warmest parkas, the hooded Stormshadow Parka is waterproof and insulated with 700-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (a blend of duck and goose down and waterfowl feathers reclaimed from down products). The adjustable hood, cinchable waist and brushed tricot-lined pockets add warmth and comfort. Phone pockets inside the handwarmer pockets and a zippered chest pocket that’s accessed without unzipping the parka also help conserve heat. Built from premium 100% recycled GORE-TEX ePE face fabric, which is partially made from BIONIC® recycled coastal and marine plastic sourced in Costa Rica, the fabric, membrane and DWR finish are made without intentionally added PFAS. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.

Stays Warm!

This is a jacket that you can wear with only a t-shirt on in single digit weather. Highly recommend, especially paired with extraordinary Patagonia customer service. I expect to keep this jacket around for the next decade.

The Coat Delivers.

I have now been wearing this coat in single digit weather and with a micro puff and a t-shirt as base layers it’s keeping me warm. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend it.

Great Parka | Excellent Product

received the parka and weather-tested on day #1…. 5º F, wind and snow. Went out with a long sleeve t-shirt and the parka, plus a beanie for my head. Warm and comfortable to the MAX! Great fit, workmanship, and a valued investment IMO. Excellent materials. Basin green is very nice, but would like to have Patagonia expand the color palette, a simple request.

Stormshadow Parka is perfect for Newfoundland!

So, I've been searching for the right bitter-cold weather parka for our cold/wet/windy climate. After trying many parkas from other brands (to be sure) this coat won hands down. I typically wear my R2 hoodie jacket or hoodie down-sweater, and they do a great job, except when I'm outside for an extended time. Wow, this jacket is so warm (I can wear a T-shirt). Fit is perfect (Men's M with all my Patagonia jackets, etc. ). Bring on, NL Winter! Thanks, Patagonia. I love the Green.
