Ms Stormshadow Parka

I gave this to my husband last Christmas and it's such a wonderful, high-quality jacket, I'm considering the women's for myself. He loves that it's so warm he can wear just a t-shirt under it in 0 to 10F temps (not including wind chill). The one downside is that it's slightly noisy sounding when you move.

I have worn this jacket very comfortably in temps down to -25, with only a standard base layer and light fleece layer underneath. It is absolutely the best jacket I have ever owned for daily wear anytime it is well below freezing. The outer shell is very durable and everything about the jacket is designed perfectly. I unconditionally recommend it.

This jacket is SO warm and snuggly. It’s a little bit of a marshmallow, but still looks good. It feels super super durable. . I had a Fitz before and it tore one week in after my dog jumped on me. . this jacket is indestructible. As others say, there’s a lot of thought put into the technicality of the jacket and it shows. . steep price but worth it if you’ve got it, and patty’s lifetime warranty makes it worth it even more.

This thing is a fortress. Picked it up on sale right before Thanksgiving and it was just in time for the cold weather in Chicago. The last week here has been 15-25F with about 10inches of snow, and this has kept me warm and dry with just my scrub top underneath on the way to/from work. The 2-way zipper is great for venting when dipping in/out of the bus or train. I'm 5'9 150lbs and the small is a perfect fit. Surprisingly lightweight for how warm it is, and love that it doesn't make me look like George Costanza. Typical excellent quality from Patagonia, looking forward to having this parka for many years to come.

Amazing, super warm and comfortable parka. Love the 2-way zipper combined with the snap over…perfect seal everything and also use snap to keep from falling of hanger. All the sleeve snap and other pull adjustments are all perfectly placed. Plenty of room to store things and keep hands warm. If complaining about anything the inside chest pocket a little small but it fits a phone, glasses or whatever. Such an upgrade that I didn’t know I needed…put it right to that test in Chicago this year with wintery rain/snow mix, snow, single digits temps and double-digit winds, plus hood stays in place and is perfect. Look forward to this lasting forever. Same size I order all Patagonia and it’s a little oversized if I’ll need to layer.
