Ms Stormshadow Parka

Ms Stormshadow Parka

One of our warmest parkas, the hooded Stormshadow Parka is waterproof and insulated with 700-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (a blend of duck and goose down and waterfowl feathers reclaimed from down products). The adjustable hood, cinchable waist and brushed tricot-lined pockets add warmth and comfort. Phone pockets inside the handwarmer pockets and a zippered chest pocket that’s accessed without unzipping the parka also help conserve heat. Built from premium 100% recycled GORE-TEX ePE face fabric, which is partially made from BIONIC® recycled coastal and marine plastic sourced in Costa Rica, the fabric, membrane and DWR finish are made without intentionally added PFAS. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.

Best gift I ever bought myself!!

Saw this parka during the 50% off sale at my local Patagonia shop. . . had to get it with the down insulation/Gortex, reduced price!! Outstanding for any cold weather events (snow blowing, Ravens games etc). . . . . love it ! At 6'3"/225, the XXL with a sweatshirt underneath is perfect!

Love my coat

The storm shadow parka is prob the best coat I've ever had. With goose down to keep me warm and gortex to keep me dry the coat knocks it outta the parka!

Smiling at negative temperatures

I’m 6'0" and 180 lbs. Initially, I bought a size L, but it felt tight around my shoulders, so I exchanged it for an XL—perfect for my broad shoulders and lanky arms. Over the past month in Chicago, with temperatures dropping as low as -9°F, this jacket has kept me completely insulated from the cold. In my collection of jackets for different conditions, I rotate between the Storm Shadow and my Primo Puff depending on the day's tasks. I purchased this in Navy, and the color is even more stunning in person. Kudos to Patagonia for crafting such a high-quality and responsibly made jacket.

A Truly Incredible Piece of Clothing

I'm almost certain this is the most expensive article of clothing I've ever purchased, but in some ways it's also the best value purchase I've ever made, too. I've had it now for two months and in that time have been able to put through the wringer—sun, freezing rain, snow, sleet, even a touch of light hale. It's held up beyond belief in every instance. I don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to. It's incredible craftsmanship. Would recommend.
