Women's Wool Runners - Calm Taupe (Calm Taupe Sole)

Love the color. Returned the size 11 as they seemed too large. My original allbirds in black were a men’s 9 because they weren’t making a women’s 11 at the time. Ordered a men’s 9 and I like the fit and shape much better. I didn’t realize how wide the lacing is in my new shoes compared to my originals. Love the shoe but really hate the wider tongue and lacing design. Probably won’t buy these again and hope my originals last until the styling changes.

I did order a final sale so I felt stuck with what I received. The shoe I ordered was a pink 8M. When it arrived, the box said W8. I checked the website to see if I had read it wrong but it said 8M. I didn’t even know Allbirds came in a wide shoe. They are loose. I don’t wear them and I’m dissapointed with the misrepresentation.

These wool runners are a great shoe, but these are most definitely NOT "calm taupe" as described on the website AND on the packing box, nor are they any other color resembling ANY shade of taupe. The soles and uppers are very distinctly bubblegum pink! I have bought 2 other pairs of Allbirds that were actually taupe (I have a total of 6 pairs), and I'm very familiar with the color. Taupe is a neutral shade, while bubblegum pink is NOT! These were a "final sale," and now I know why they were on sale, but this issue should have been clearly described on the item page, because it is simply not believable that Allbirds employees don't know pink from taupe. Silly me - I thought the photo on the listing was inaccurate or due to weird lighting - I didn't really think I'd be getting VERY PINK shoes!

I bought these shoes for cushioning my feet on my daily walks; I started walking 10k steps a day and my feet had been barking! I don’t know that these have made much of a difference from my other cross trainers, but they are okay. Not life changing, but comfortable enough. I do not like wearing them without socks, even though that’s a feature of the shoe.
