Schecter Sun Valley Super Shredder FRS Electric Guitar

Love the tone and sustainability of the pickup.

I originally got this because id been wanting a SCHECTER guitar and with the sustainer now in it I had to pull the trigger and I love the way this thing sounds and plays the sustainer is very different but fun to play around with I was very surprised at this thing glad I got it

Unfortunately it comes with ernie ball hybrid strings which don't give you the snap this guitar can produce....so i will be replacing the strings with Diaddarios in which give you the snap. Guitar resonates thru the body which is a must for me. The emg retro bridge pickup has that nice early Van Halen, classic rock sound but can also get very heavy if you need it. The sustaniac I once owned in a fernandes... its fun for adding something new to your mix...might change it out and add coil taps to the switches later on.....the guitar is also heavy....good wood on this baby. Floyd rose works very well ...but the angle of the tremelo bar is a little to curved upwards....might do a minor swap. For a strat on steriods this is the one, and the c shaped neck is nice.....a keeper compared to the banshee i sent back the banshee, it was nice, week pickups in the banshee and just felt more like a toy compared to this model

All I expected from Schecter! I have a couple other Schecters. It came in with a couple strings snapped and needed a few adjustments which could be from shipping in winter but once it was set up it's a monster. Plays great with the fastest neck I've played.The sustainiac is awesome and I don't know why more company's aren't making them other than Jackson which start at $2500. Also I can't say enough about American Musical Supply and their service!! I thought about buying it directly from Schecter but AMS gives you an extra year warranty on top of Schecters. I've purchased over 20 guitars over 30yrs and this is definitely my Favorite!!!

This guitar is everything I wanted it to be. It’s very versatile and I love it. I study Syn Gates playing a lot and this guitar does the job for that style. I thank my wife everyday for buying it for me.
