eufy X10 Pro Omni

Having used another “name brand” of robot vacuum for a couple of years, our expectations were set pretty low. Needless to say, we were blown away by how the X10 Pro “just works”. It doesn’t get lost, it doesn’t crash into things, it doesn’t drop connection, it doesn’t go places you’ve told it not to. Also, it is much quieter than expected. In short, if you’ve never had a robot vacuum before, this is just how you would expect one to work! The only downside is the mop capacity is a bit inadequate. With many trips back to the base station it gets the job done, but could be an area for improvement. (Context: 2800 sq ft, all tile.)

We opened the box and installed it. It was smooth and simple according to the instructions. After using it for a few days, we found that it is much easier to use than we imagined. The sweeping robot we bought before was easy to get stuck during cleaning. This one has been working very well. process, and then you can turn it on and off through the remote control switch, which is really convenient.

Setup—be patient and update before using X10 was very easy to unpackage and prep for use. The app was a little more cumbersome to configure (initially). Just be patient and start over if you need to… Once connected to the x10 make sure you update before use. Quick mapping-works great Cleaning-2100sqft of hardwood/tile on single charge (vac/mop). I am guessing the complaints about battery life is due to people with heavy nap carpet. You really can’t expect the battery to last as long on all surfaces and I don’t know of any robot that gives you an expected battery life by surface type (too many variables). Second map-I was able to map our finished basement easily and the x10 vacuumed it. The only drawback for using on a second level is it won’t mop. I wish they would allow it to mop and then stop/send notification to take back to the dock for water/cleaning. Obstacle avoidance-x10 does an awesome job of avoiding random stuff. Our old vac used to get stuck on things all the time (cell phone charging cables). We have three kids 7-15y/o and two dogs (Dachshund&Doberman). Streak free moping-The rotating mops do a better job of cleaning than the pad (in my opinion). I am extremely satisfied with the mopping as now it gets done 1-2 times per week versus 1 time every 3 months. Overall, I would give the x10 6 stars if possible. I don’t have to empty the little dust bin everyday. The automatic hair removal seems to work well (three girls with long hair in house). Now, I just have to add/dump water every week. X10 is a life changer (I have recouped approximately 15 minutes of everyday for myself).
