I'm in love!
As someone who already loves robot vacuums, I was excited to get this model and give it a try. I have never tried a Eufy before, so this is my first experience with this brand. I own two iRobots or Roombas as they are affectionately called. One is 5 years old, the other is 3 years old. I have a two level home, so one for each level. I don't have any carpet other than a few area rugs. Neither of my Roombas are mopping or self emptying.I thought I was loyal to iRobot, but the Eufy x10 Pro Omni has quickly proven me wrong. Set up was easy. It came with everything I needed except cleaning solution for the mop, which was fine. You just scan the QR code on the manual and download the app to your smart phone and connect it to your home Wi-Fi network. You can register your warranty info through the app and access the Eufy website if you need to order anything like extra dust bags or parts. Set up took less than 10 minutes. Once the vacuum was fully charged, I changed it to vacuum only through the app and programmed it to do a mapping of the first floor of my house. Once the mapping is done, you can customize your cleaning if there are specific rooms you don't want cleaned. I have a dog, so I doubt I will ever skip a room. It goes back to its charging station to empty anytime it gets full. If you are using the mop feature, it has carpet sensors that will lift the mop pads so your carpets don't get wet. This vacuum is a higher profile than my Roomba so it doesn't get stuck under the corner of my couch like my Roomba does. It also doesn't get stuck on my bathroom rugs and it has made it back to its charging base on its own every time so far. My Roomba was struggling with that recently. The only very minor complaint would be how loud it is when it is emptying itself into the dustbin. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. This will be my main vacuum on the main floor of my home. I will move the 3 year old old Roomba downstairs and when Hairy finally kicks the buckets, I will be replacing him with a new Eufy!
