It's okay. Could be much better.

I have the S340. I actually bought 3 of them. I returned a couple because the device just doesn't have the sensor sensitivity that it should have. It should also be 4K and have a better zoom function. There can be a person walking within 15 feet of my house and the sensor doesn't pick up the movement. Sometimes a car can drive halfway up my driveway before the sensor activates the recording. This needs 4K and a larger memory. On a positive, the solar power works well and keeps the battery charged. Would gladly pay more to Eufy for a better / higher functioning device. I hope they will upgrade this unit with a better motion sensor and 4K soon.

Not for everyone

This overlooks my driveway and my vehicles after someone tried breaking into my vehicle. It is unreliable and doesn’t record as much as it should. And the battery drains quickly without sunlight. It has been raining quite a bit in Florida and I have to climb up there and take it off the wall and charge it in the house instead of solar. If it’s in a high traffic area like mine, it’s not helpful. I.e.- a car goes by and it records for 10 seconds and then misses the next vehicle or person going by. Customer service has been exemplary in trying to resolve this but I believe the equipment is limited in what it can do. If it’s watching over a pool or something where there is little activity, it’s fine. As long as you have lots of sun! But don’t expect to get good identification of a person or a license plate. It has to be right on top of the subject.

Sucks without 24/7 recording

Some limitations

Very cool product that is unfortunately limited by short detection range that is incongruous with the 3x zoom. By the time detection happens there already is great detail available in the 1x setting. Also, since there seems to be little buffer, the recording can miss a fair amount of the event - would be better if the recording captured the 10 seconds leading up to the detection trigger. That said, the ability to have a 360 degree view and tracking is a bit of a game changer.
