Quark Expeditions

This trip was exceptional! Almost too difficult to put into words. We had the time of our lives and were treated so well by both the ship crew and the Quark Expedition Team. No questions about their skill and knowledge of the regions visited and the wildlife we saw. Thrilling! Learned so much as we travelled this vast lower region of the globe. Antartica was stunning, wonderful, quiet and majestic. Simply awesome! The ship was great, comfortable for seafaring and the food was exceptional with such variety and availability. We really can’t say enough good things about this trip. There is a reason Quark is indeed the leader in polar expeditions, they just do it better.

I love to travel and this was on my bucket list. And I can truly say it was a lot more than I expected. It was was the most beautiful place I have been to. The ship, crew and passengers were excellent and great fun. The wildlife was amazing. Literally I took over 1000 pictures. Walk out the door and click your camera as you exit to the deck and you have a fantastic photo

This trip exceeded our expectations. We expected to see some great scenery but as a bonus the scenery was spectacular and beautiful with the added bonuses of beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The animal encounters were amazing including penguins and seals. The stars of the show, however, were the whales - especially the humpbacks - which approached our Zodiacs to distances less than 50 metres. These gentle giants never once touched any small boat or kayak but performed smoothly and splash-free! Amazing trip!
