We got a direct flight to our destination through Globehunters that was about what a layover ticket would have cost us - and hundreds of dollars cheaper than the advertised prices for direct. Folks seem to complain about difficulties after missed connections - we hope to be free of that! Know the third-party booking limitations and you should be fine.
