Getaway

I can’t stop talking about this getaway and how wonderful it went for myself and my husband. I was able to completely disconnect and reflect on my next steps in my career. The drive went well just a 2.5 hour drive out of the south bronx. When we arrived the maps pointed us directly to our tiny cabin perfectly made for what we needed. Smelling the forest smells and listening to the birds chirps was our highlight. The most important detail was the bed window totally magical ! I was completely mesmerized at the beauty of nature captured day and night. Everything was there we barely even packed the amenities made it simple. We can’t wait to go back! The little town in Roscoe NY was exactly what we expected it to be. We supported all of the small business and even donated to the fire department. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better Getaway.

The cabin was the cutest and sweetest ever. My kids loved every bit of it. It was easy to access and had enough space for us four. We had an amazing time outdoors and enjoyed time walking the trails. We did see a coyote!! But it was more scared of us than us of it. We walked fast the opposite direction and got to safety. The view was amazing ! We took a hammock and slept outside during the morning, which happened to have an amazing breeze. We woke up to light rain! The time with my kids was so valuable. I feel like this trip brought us closer . The service was spotty but not terrible. We got to cook outside and enjoy each other’s company. It got dark, pitch black, at 945ish and it was time to go inside. We played monopoly and operation and laughed so so much.

My Getaway stay was exactly what I needed. I hadn’t had time off from work since July of last year and when I had the opportunity to take a quick little trip and disconnect I knew I wanted to stay at Getaway. The service was amazing and my cabin was perfect and had everything I needed! I only wish I had stayed longer!! I’ll be back!

What an incredible experience! This was something my friend and I had been wanting to do for years, It was everything we thought it would and more! Incredible scenery, the cabins were all pretty spaced out from each other. Shoutout to Violet for being so quick to answer all of my questions and more! We will definitely be coming back in due time! 10/10 100 stars if possible!
